Warehouse Associate II
Responsible for receiving incoming product according to purchase orders and/or receiving paperwork, verifying product is undamaged and accepting only product in stable condition. Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipments. Work is performed under the direction of warehouse supervisor.
Responsibilities: (representative but not limited to)
Verifies and maintains records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
Compares and identifies information by counting or weighing items of outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against bills, invoices, orders, or related records.
Operates lift truck or use hand truck to move or convey shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Inspects products and tags all freight by date received for date-sensitive product, item number, expiration date (if any) and description; signs for product received; and completes receiving paperwork.
Stages incoming product for placement to proper location in warehouse.
Reconciles purchase orders with receiving document.
Operates an order selector, reach truck, forklift or an electric pallet jack safely in order to move products into correct zones for stocking. Qualifications COMPETENCIES:
Effective communication, both orally and in writing.
Good math, reading and writing skills
Must be detail-oriented
Limited computer and data entry skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or minimum of six (6) months previous warehouse experience. Prior experiences in operating warehouse equipment required.
